A New Way To Play Golf’s Most Iconic Hole
As a partner of the PGA TOUR, Comcast Business wanted to showcase the next-level technology they power on the course for all the fans and prospective customers in attendance.
We turned the iconic 17th green at TPC Sawgrass into a first-of-its-kind digital challenge. Fans could predict where the tee shots would land-live. The game was built using the on-course technology powered by Comcast Business, giving fans an entirely new way to experience the game.
We integrated topographic course modeling with real-time PGA TOUR data and installed sensors to collect hyperlocal weather data on, course conditions. We even used machine learning to develop an.Al prediction model trained on 20 years of data to help fans predict where the next ball would land.
